Unlike natural color in a common rice paper, the color of this paper is artificial. The paper is most often used in Chinese calligraphy, for those gold speckles would enrich the appearance of a complete monochrome work. Because of its exhibitive good-looking, the paper is also used for covering of a fan and gift wrapping.
