Surfboard Paper
When rice paper, on which a custom design is printed or drawn, is coated with epoxy resin, the paper absorbs the epoxy and turns transparent, leaving only the design on the surfboard. The process can also be applied to kayaks, paddles, or the like.

How to
- Make a decorative design and print it through an inkjet printer. Some rice paper tends to bleed than others and some test may be necessary.
Contact us if you like to have a surfboard-maker who is located in LA area to print a design for you.
- Lay the print out and coat it with epoxy resin.
What covers here is only the use of the rice paper as surfboard paper. Please read the label on the epoxy resin container carefully and test it on a strip of wood before start.
